My Story
Hello my name is Brian Temple and you may be wondering what the Big B may stand for. Well I happen to be 6′ 4″ and 250 lbs. and have been working out my whole life. Family and friends have called me Big B for years so it seemed like a no-brainer for my Handyman business name. I was in the construction world for 37 years and I always thought about the possibility of starting my own business. Unfortunately in 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer a week before my 30th wedding anniversary. It was a tough battle but I got through it with support from my family and friends. That situation created a different mindset for me. The idea of creating a business that would give me the satisfaction of providing something that would benefit someone else. I have always wanted to help people in a way that would bring a smile to their face by either removing stress in their life or freeing up time for them to enjoy what is really important to them. So that is exactly what I did. In 2019, I retired and started my own Handyman business. I was very fortunate to learn a lot in 37 years in the construction world and with helping my father for years with his rental properties in the Pittsburgh,Pa. area. To me it just seemed like the right choice and time to start a Handyman business for helping others.
